NEWARK, New York – MCC men’s basketball coach Jerry Burns has announced the signing of Newark High School’s Taylor Clements for the 2018-2019 year.

A 6-7, 220-pound forward, Clements will enter the Tribune program for the 2018-19 school year. Newark’s current leader in points, rebounds, and minutes played, Clements has totaled more than 700 points and 600 rebounds in his four years on the varsity squad. His career-high, single-game point total is 33.

Clements was featured on SportsCenter’s Top 10 in late November after he hit a full-court buzzer beater to end the third quarter in a game against Canandaigua.
