ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Tahron Goudelock collected seven of his game-high 19 points during the fourth quarter as the Bishop Timon/St. Jude Tigers erased a four-point deficit en route to a 70-57 win over the UPrep Griffins in the 2017 R-H Holiday Tournament, Wednesday.
Goudelock’s layup knotted the game at 55 with little less than seven minutes to play, and Bishop Timon went on to score the next 13 points as part of an overall 19-3 performance in the final quarter.
Next trip down the floor, Master Radford converted on an inbound play to give Timon a lead it did not surrender.
Radford and Julian Cunningham scored four points apiece in the last eight minutes of the game.

Jakhi Lucas paced UPrep with 18 points. The Griffins opened the game on a 13-0 run, but Timon rallied to cut the deficit to three at 18-15 going into the second quarter and led 35-32 going into the locker room at halftime.
UPrep forced a pair of turnovers early in the second half. Quinton Sanders scored with an assist from Elroy Clark. Lucas got ahead of the defense for another basket and 36-35 UPrep edge.
The Griffins led by as many as seven in the quarter. Lucas finished a floater in the lane and scored on a lay-in. Sanders followed with a drive from the corner for a 52-45 Griffins advantage with less than a minute remaining in the quarter.
Timon’s Cullen Tonge converted a traditional 3-point play for three of his 14 points on the night. Cunningham hit a three before the buzzer to make it a 54-51 game at the end of three.
Timon (6-1) converted four baseline inbound plays into 11 points for the game. Tonge hit three 3-pointers in those situations.
Clark finished with 10 points for UPrep (3-5). The Griffins played without junior forward Jabez Thomas who was a healthy scratch.

Timon will play host Rush-Henrietta in Thursday’s championship game. UPrep will play Irondequoit.
