Broyld netted 10 in the fourth quarter. The Royal Comets needed every one of them as Gates-Chili’s Keith Slack connected three times behind the arc and scored 15 of his game-high 33 points to lead G-C to a 25-17 advantage in the final eight minutes. Slack hit five 3-pointers for the game and topped the 30-point mark for the third time this season. R-H’s Kailee White scored 15. Mecca McCullough had 13. Malek Williams chipped in eight and Matt Zarzycki six for the Royal Comets. Damon Payton scored 13 for Gates-Chili. Mitchell Harris added eight. Dan Hayes chipped in 10 points and six rebounds. Travon Harper scored eight for Odyssey while Ray Colbert had seven. Gerald Drumgoole netted eight in the third quarter as Irondequoit outscored Webster Thomas by 10 to take a 49-29 lead into the fourth quarter. Drumgoole connected once behind the arc and added two more field goals to lead a 16-6 Eagles effort in the stanza. The junior guard finished with a game and season-high 25 points. Tanner Pioch scored 11 for Irondequoit. Freddie June and Patrick Thomas added nine apiece for the Eagles. Josh Stenglein had five and Robert Diaz-Judson four. Will Porter chipped in with two points. Will Johnson scored 11 of his team-high 16 points in the fourth quarter, but Thomas could not overcome the 20-point deficit. Andrew Mason added 15 for the Titans. Dannie Palmer had eight. Joe Luconte had five, Caden Hann two and CJ Battaglia scored one point.
