Chaz Washington scored 14 of his game-high 23 points to help East take a 40-21 lead into the locker room before holding on for the Eagles first victory of the season. Jordan Randolph added 16, and Kni Jear Sapp had 13. Sapp scored seven in the first quarter as the Eagles jumped to a 19-10 advantage after eight minutes. Washington grabbed 10 rebounds in the contest. Dylon Foster and Ryziere Wilson combined to score 10 in the third quarter as Edison Tech cut the margin to six after three quarters. Tristan Flowers paced the Inventors offense with 16 points. Demetrius Allen had 12. Foster added eight and Wilson seven. In a battle of state-ranked teams, Canyon Roster led LeRoy with 16 points as the Knights (4-1) outscored Cal-Mum 26-11 in the third quarter. Ty Williams added 10 points, and Luke Stella had eight for LeRoy including two of three free with no time remaining to win the game. LeRoy is ranked No. 14 NYSSWA Class C. Cal-Mum came into the game ranked No. 11 NYSSWA Class C.
