David Goetz leads an Honeoye Falls-Lima squad which has outscored opponents 15-0 over its last four games. Tyler Lewandowski and Greece Arcadia have won two in a row. Evan Pirnie doused a personal drought, and Zach Wharram is part of Brockport squad that is climbing the state rankings.
The quartet earned Monroe County Player of the Week honors as announced on SectionVSoccer.org.
Goetz netted three goals and added two assists during three wins for HF-L (8-2-0) last week. The senior midfielder scored twice and had an assist as the Cougars avenged an earlier loss with a 4-0 win over Pittsford-Mendon. He chipped in an assist in a victory over Greece Odyssey, and his second-half goal helped HF-L snap Victor’s four-game win streak.

Lewandowski contributed to seven of Greece Arcadia’s 11 goals last week. The junior attacker scored twice in 2-nil win over Gates-Chili. He had three assists and a goal in a 6-nil victory over Aquinas. Lewandowski connected on the Titans only tally in a 3-1 loss to Hilton to start the week.
Pirnie entered the week scoreless in three games. The Hilton senior ended the seven-day stretch with five goals and one assist. Pirnie scored the eventual game-winning goal, his second of the match, in Hilton’s 3-1 victory over Arcadia to start the week. The Cadets midfielder had the go-ahead tally in Hilton’s 4-1 win over Greece Athena to cap the week. In between, he scored Hilton’s only goal in a one-all tie with Webster Schroeder. Hilton is 7-1-1 on the season.
Wharram collected three goals and two assists in two wins for Brockport (8-0-1), ranked No. 3 NYS Class A. The senior attacker tallied twice in a 4-1 win over Eastridge. He added a goal and an assist in a 4-1 victory over Spencerport. Wharram leads Brockport with nine goals on the season and shares the lead with five assists.
Quinn Minich and Edi Muka shared RCAC Player of the Week honors.
Minich is part of a McQuaid (10-0-0) backline which has limited opponents to five goals this season. The senior sweeper helped McQuaid to the top spot in NYS Class AA in the most recent rankings. McQuaid has outscored opponents 60-5.
Muka netted a hat trick in East High’s 3-2 win over SOTA/NW/NE. The senior midfielder has 10 goals and two assists on the season.
