John Mozrall connected on the winner in double overtime for the second time in as many matches. The senior midfielder delivered his team-leading eighth goal with an assist from Aaron Onoff, and Sutherland improved to 4-4-1 on the season. Mozrall had the golden goal Saturday in Sutherland’s 2-1 victory over Pittsford-Mendon.

Justin LaFountain collected a goal and two assists as McQuaid took a 7-0 first-half lead. Seven different Jesuit Knights scored before halftime. Dominic Duncan notched his first of two tallies. The senior leads McQuaid (9-0-0) with 13 goals on the year. Alex Reale, Adriano Margiotta, Mark Croop, Nick Bonfiglio and Vincenzo Cappezzuto rounded out the first-half production. Jeevan Deol added a second-half score. Brennan Brown chipped in two assists. Nick Bonfiglio, Tim Brown, Jake Lalonde, Andy LoCicero and Margiotta had a helper apiece. McQuaid is ranked No. 1 in this week’s USA Today Region II poll and No. 2 by the New York State Sportswriter’s Association.

Yaak Awuok connected on the game winner in the 87th minute with an assist from Matt Tierney. Jordan Searles scored in the 56th minute for the Kings. Fernando Furioso assisted on the play. Bishop Kearney is 4-4-0.
Wayland-Cohocton 2 Bath-Haverling 1
Colton Moir found the back of the net in 72nd minute, and Wayland-Cohocton (6-0-2) upset Bath-Haverling (7-1-1) ranked No. 12 NYS Class B. Alex Lincoln gave Wayland-Cohocton a 1-nil advantage in the 58th minute, but Thomas Binkowski connected on the equalizer for Bath-Haverling 11 minutes later. Nick Strong assisted on the play.

Dominic Fucci had two assists for Arkport/Canaseraga while Garrett Stuckey and Geffers added one helper apiece. Jaaron L’Esperance and Clark Consul collected a goal apiece for Lima Christian. Jayden La Barca added an assist.

Dominic Stramonine opened the scoring the fifth minute as Wayne jumped to a 4-nil lead at halftime. James Flannery, Devin LaDue and Matt Gentile added first-half strikes for the Eagles. Tim Catalano and Sean Flannery added second-half scores. Cullen Bock collected two assists. LaDue, Tom Rauen and Branden Shugerts had an assist apiece. Tanner Tewksbury had Waterloo’s lone goal with an assist from Payton Rodgers.

Dominick Morey scored two goals including a golden goal in the 89th minute. Jonathan Donovan assisted on the game winner. Nick Schultze gave HAC a 1-nil edge in the 17th minute. Jaden Sowell had an assist on the lone HAC tally.
