David Goetz tallied twice and added an assist as HF-L avenged an earlier loss. Goetz fed Parker Hotchkiss for HF-L’s first goal of the game in the 36th minute. The senior midfielder then connected on a free kick with five seconds remaining in the first half to give the Cougars a two-goal advantage going into the break. Gunnar Wetzel wasted little making it a 3-nil game connecting :30 into the second stanza, and HF-L didn’t look back. Goetz added an insurance goal in the final minute. HF-L (6-2-0) has recorded back-to-back shutouts and won four of its last five games. Pittsford-Mendon downed HF-L 2-1 on August 31st. Goetz and Hotchkiss have scored four goals apiece on the season. Goetz leads the Cougars with six assists. Hotchkiss has three.
Brockport 4 Eastridge 1
Zach Wharram tallied two first-half goals, and Brockport remained the only unbeaten Monroe County League team at 7-0-1. Ben Leach added two assists for the Blue Devils while Tyler Daly and Zach Langelotti scored a goal apiece. Michael Rennie and Caleb Peck both chipped in an assist.
Victor 4 Churchville-Chili 3
Spencer Ryczek scored two goals and added an assist as Victor (4-4-0/3-2-0) won its fourth straight game. Ryczek assisted on Andrew Crean’s goal in the minute, and connected in the match’s 12 minute, and the senior midfielder added his two goals in the first half as the Blue Devils took a 3-1 lead into the break. Justin Graham scored the eventual game winner in the 57th minute. Max Fiorica collected two assists for Victor. Jordan Bailey had one helper. Ryan Demitrovic, Colby Egan and Parker Zah scored one goal apiece for Churchville-Chili. Cam Shuman, Mariah Williams and Mario Cozzo each added an assist. C-C fell to 7-1-0 overall on the season. The Saints are 5-0-0 in Monroe County Division II play.
Fairport 2 Webster Schroeder 1
Brandon Manz netted the game winner in the 87th minute, and Fairport (7-1-0) won its fifth straight game. Lucas Simpson tallied in the 21st minute to get the Red Raiders on the scoreboard. Schroeder’s Matt Harrington redirected a Colin Merkey free kick in the 38th minute to level the match. Fairport had not allowed a goal in its previous four wins.

Brett Kaemmerlen tallied twice and added an assist while Luke Piazza scored once to go with two helpers as Thomas (5-1-2) ran its unbeaten streak to four games. Ryan Malley and Peter VanCamp added a goal apiece. Kyle Adjei and Danny Charleton both had an assist.

Gabriel Barraclough-Tan scored twice and Brighton improved to 7-1-0 on the season. Rikki Nord connected in the 30th minute to give the Barons a 2-nil advantage at halftime. Caio De Medeiros, Matt Ochs and Jake Vitale chipped in an assist apiece. Brighton has won six straight, the last there by shutout.
Canandaigua 2 Greece Odyssey 1
Aden Forcier converted a penalty kick in overtime, and Canandaigua outlasted Odyssey for its first victory of the season. Connor Fisher got the Braves on the scoreboard. Odyssey’s Kent Johnson leveled the match in the 75th minute.
Gates-Chili 1 Irondequoit 0
Adoniadis Savidis went far post from 25 yards out, and Gates-Chili snapped a six-game losing streak. Christian Leonardo assisted on the play.

Mahemed Abdikarim collected three goals and two assists to lead Edison/Monroe. Ali Ali scored once and assisted on two goals. Esam Saleh, Tai Mach and Alvaro Mendoza-Orozco added a goal apiece. Aung Lin, Saleh Mabrook and Sumani Hassani chipped in an assist apiece. Musa Mutombo dished out two assists for East High. Eli Muka and Bijaya Thapa scored a goal apiece for the Eagles.

Ayub Jeylani netted three goals and assisted on another as World of Inquiry improved to 3-0-0 in RCAC play and 4-1-0 overall. Emmanuel Nsengiyuma added two goals and three assists. Suheil Jeylani and Jean Kennedy chipped in a goal apiece. Frankie Santiago had two assists. Yusuf Jeylani added one helper. Eliphazi Irrshura scored both SOTA/NW/NE goals. Brendan Traver added an assist.
