AMSTERDAM, NY– Senior Toby Welk (Penn State Berks), junior Dalton Skelton (Louisiana Tech) and freshman Chris Hamilton (Stony Brook University) combined for nine RBI and seven hits in the Mohawks’ fourth straight win. Freshman Morgan McSweeney (Wake Forest University) fanned eight over six innings and let up one run, one hit and four walks. Junior Riley Schaefer (Texas Lutheran University) drove in two runs for the Trail Blazers.

SYRACUSE, NY– Freshman Jared Strait (Wells College) pitched seven scoreless innings for the Flames. The right-hander struck out six while allowing two hits and two walks. Freshman Ryan Marketell (Monroe Community College/Webster Thomas) walked two and struck out one in one inning of relief for the Flames. Sophomore Matt Carey (Ithaca College/Webster Thomas) had a double, an RBI and a run scored for the Flames. Freshman Trevor Rumsey (St. John Fisher College) struck out six in six innings for the Pilots, giving up three runs on five hits. Onondaga has won four straight.

SAUGERTIES, NY– Freshman Nick Estrella (Azusa Pacific University) went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and two RBI as the Dutchmen won their third straight game. Sophomore Jack Grabek (Bucknell University) set down seven on strikeouts and let up two hits in seven scoreless innings for the Dutchmen.

ELMIRA, NY– Freshman Conor Grammes (Xavier University) produced four RBI on three hits in the Pioneers’ sixth win in 10 games. Junior Cody Thompson (Randolph-Macon College) came in for relief for the Pioneers, lasting four-and-one-third innings and surrendering two runs (one earned) on on four hits and one walk with five strikeouts. Incoming freshman Dominic Toso (Bucknell University) plated three runs with two hits for the Red Wings.

JAMESTOWN, NY– Sophomore Riley Moore (Diablo Valley Community College) threw eight innings for the Blue Sox, allowing one run on four hits and eight walks, striking out seven and handing the Jammers a second straight loss. Sophomore Quinn Taylor (Felician University) tossed five-and-two-thirds scoreless innings for the Jammers, giving up two hits and five walks, punching out two.
