SYRACUSE, NY– Freshman Ayrton Schafer (Samford University) went 3-for-5 with four RBI as the Pioneers won a second straight game. Freshman Danny Madden (St. Bonaventure University) allowed three runs on four hits and four walks with four strikeouts in five innings for the Pioneers. Junior Trey Baur (Cornell University) drove in three runs for the Flames.

AMSTERDAM MOHAWKS (31-12) 4
AMSTERDAM, NY– Junior Julian Gallup (Niagara University) led the Mohawks with two doubles and two RBI, handing the Stallions a second straight loss. Freshman Andrew Saalfrank (Indiana University) struck out seven in seven scoreless innings for the Mohawks, giving up two hits and three walks.

LITTLE FALLS, NY– Sophomore Alexis Monge-Rodriguez (Barry University) knocked in four runs for the DiamondDawgs, who have now won back-to-back games. Junior Jack Fossand (Dartmouth College) let up two runs on four hits and one walk, striking out three. Zach Vennaro (Mount Olive/Monroe C.C.) struck out the side in a shutout inning of relief.

GLENS FALLS, NY– Redshirt freshman Greg Marino (Stony Brook University) fanned eight over seven scoreless innings, surrendering four hits to help the Dutchmen win a second straight game. Sophomore Lake Robertson (William Carey University) tossed three innings and allowed three runs on four hits and six walks, setting down four by strikeout.

JAMESTOWN, NY– Junior Jimmy Standohar (Mercyhurst University) brought home three runs in the Jammers’ third consecutive win. Sophomore David Lyskawa (Niagara County Community College) let up two runs on six hits and four walks, registering eight strikeouts for the Jammers. Sophomore Hunter Wells (Tyler Junior College) went 3-for-5 with two RBI for the Pilots.
