WELLSVILLE — Jacob Burlingame went 2-for-2 including a single in the first that plated two as the Oilers have won seven of their last ten games. Kirby McMullen connected on a three-run home run in the first as the Oilers tacked on eight runs. Sean Harris hit a three-run home run in the fourth giving him his first home run of the season. Reliever Kaden Darrow went two innings allowing one run on two hits with one strikeout. The right-hander picked up his first win of the season.

SYRACUSE — Jay Perry connected on a tiebreaking single that plated Micah Riddick as the Spartans rallied from four down to steal the victory. Edison Mercado went 2-for-5 with three RBI including a two-out double in the eighth that plated two. Chris Schad finished with two hits including a run-scoring double in the fifth. Eric Delaney went 3-for-3 with three RBI for the Generals including a solo home run in the sixth.

CORTLAND — Kyle Taylor tossed seven scoreless innings allowing three hits, and the Salt Cats won their seventh straight. The let-hander set down nine on strikes and picked up his second win of the season. Brandon Cornelius went 4-for-4 including a two-run home run in the first to jump-start the Cats offense. Justin Clark finished with two hits including a run-scoring single in the fourth.

GENESEE — Judah Wollenburg knocked a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth as the Rapids erased a three-run deficit. Travis Ralls and AJ Nitzschke each doubled a run in the sixth as the Rapids tacked on all of their runs. Reliever Jonah Moore pitched two scoreless innings allowing no hits. Moore finished with two strikeouts and picked up his first win of the season.
