Caleb Kerbs had two hits including a run-scoring double in the sixth. Arik Sypher tossed seven innings allowing two runs on six hits. The right-hander fanned five and picked up the win.

HORNELL — Jack Brett went 4-for-5 with three RBI including a two-run home run in the third, and the Dodgers won for the seventh time in their last ten games. Chris Cerniglia finished with three hits including a single in the in the fourth that plated Connor Bailey. Zack Kolodziejski (Livonia) pitched five scoreless innings allowing four hits. The right-hander set down three on strikes and picked up his second win of the season.

SYRACUSE — Austin Marsh went six and two-third innings allowing three runs on six hits as the Rapids won their third in a row. The right-hander set down three on strikes and picked up his fourth win of the season. Riley Brandvold jump-started the Rapids offense with a run-scoring double in the second. Travis Ralls finished with two hits including a single in the seventh that drove in Judah Wollenburg. Andrew Schutt finished with two hits. Edison Mercado came away with two hits for the Spartans.

OLEAN — Jimmy Webb went 2-for-4 including a single in the seventh that plated Kirby McMullen, and the Oilers notched their sixth win in the last ten games. McMullen finished with two hits. Cameron Weinberger pitched six scoreless innings allowing five hits. The right-hander fanned seven and picked up the win. Jordan Brown tossed eight innings allowing four runs on nine hits for the Ridgemen. The right-hander set down three on strikes.

SYRACUSE — Brandon Cornelius drove in four with three hits including a two-run double in the sixth as the Salt Cats moved within a half game of Cortland and the Syracuse Spartans in the Eastern Division. Colton Eremian went 2-for-3 including a run-scoring single in the third. Dan Greaves tossed six innings allowing four runs on seven hits. The right-hander fanned four and picked up his fourth win of the season.
