Tim Gorton finished with two hits including a single in the first that plated Baker. Vincent Amato tossed six innings allowing one run on three hits. The right-hander fanned one and picked up the win.

SYRACUSE — Justin Clark connected on a go-ahead single in the seventh as the Salt Cats took game two of a doubleheader. Cory Krolikowski finished with two hits including a run-scoring ground rule double in the first. Reliever David Brown went two and a third innings without allowing a run or hit with three strikeouts. The right-hander picked up his second win of the season.

WELLSVILLE — Micah Riddick went 5-for-6 with seven RBI including a three-run home run in the fifth as the Spartans took the lead in the Eastern Division. Riddick added another in the seventh as he hit a two-run home run. Britton Lawrence finished with five hits including a single in the fifth that plated Chris Schad. Zach Soder went seven innings allowing three runs on eleven hits. The left-hander set down four on strikes and picked up his fourth win of the season.

CORTLAND — Jameson Carey went 3-for-4 including a two-run single in the second as the Generals moved to .500 on the season. Devin Springfield went 2-for-3 including a single in the sixth that plated Joseph Castellanos. Christian Aybar finished with three hits. John Michael Bertrand tossed five innings allowing four runs on seven hits. The left-hander fanned two and picked up the win.

GENESEE — Jimmy Webb went 3-for-4 including a run-scoring triple in the seventh as the Oilers moved into third place in the Western Division. Jacob Burlingame finished with two hits including a a double in the fourth that plated Sam Vilk. Kyle Warner pitched six innings allowing three runs on four hits. The left-hander set down seven on strikes and picked up his third win of the season.

ROCHESTER — Max Werner went 3-for-5 with two RBI as the Dodgers won for seventh time in their last ten games. Hornell continued to dominate in the seventh as they tallied five runs that inning. Maddux Minton tossed six innings allowing four runs on nine hits. The right-hander fanned five and picked up his third win of the season. Victor Paiva went three scoreless innings fanning three to the pick up the save.
