ROME — Michael Bubniak tossed seven innings allowing three runs on eleven hits as the Spartans took game one of a doubleheader. The left-hander fanned two and picked up the win. Jay Perry plated two with an RBI single in the sixth. Cyrus Senior finished with two hits for the Spartans. Arik Sypher lasted seven innings for the Generals surrendering four runs on five hits. The right-hander set down four on strikes.

ROME — Evan Delaney went 2-for-2 including a single in the third that drove in Jameson Carey as the Generals took game two. Delaney added another single in the third as the Generals tallied eight runs that inning. Reliever Michael Kochen III pitched three scoreless innings allowing three hits. The right-hander finished with two strikeouts and picked up his first win of the season.

OLEAN — Allen Murphy went 3-for-4 with seven RBI including a three-run home run in the fifth as the Oilers took game one of a twin bill. Murphy added a two-run scoring triple in the sixth. Jimmy Webb went 3-for-3 including a single in the first that plated Kirby McMullen. McMullen tossed seven innings allowing four runs on eight hits. The right-hander set down eight on strikes and picked up his second win of the season.

OLEAN — Dakota Chmiel went 3-for-4 including a two-run home run in the top of the sixth as the Nitros took game two of a doubleheader. John Sapia went 2-for-2 including a double in the fifth that plated two. Christopher Testa finished with three hits. Justin DiDonato went five innings allowing one run on two hits. The right-hander fanned nine and picked up the win.

CORTLAND — David White went 3-for-4 including a run-scoring double in the third, and the Crush won their fourth straight. Ethan Moore finished with two hits including a two-run home run in the fifth. Tyler Schmidt also finished with two hits including a home run in the seventh as the Crush tacked on six runs that inning.

SYRACUSE — Max Werner connected on a tie-breaking double in the sixth as the Dodgers won for the seventh time their last ten games. Keaton Conner went seven and two-third innings allowing two runs on five hits. The right-hander set down ten on strikes and picked up his fifth win of the season. Shannon Baker finished with two hits including an RBI single for the Salt Cats.
