AMSTERDAM, NY– Freshmen Matt Gorski (Indiana University) and Eric Rivera (Florida Atlantic University) each drove in two runs in the Mohawks’ ninth win in the last 10 games. Freshman Andrew Saalfrank (Indiana University) fanned eight in six-and-two-thirds innings, giving up four runs (three earned) on six hits and three walks.

GLENS FALLS, NY– Junior Brandon Torres (SUNY Oneonta) had two hits, three RBI and three runs scored for the Dragons, who handed the Stallions a second straight loss. Incoming freshman Tyler Mattison (Bryant University) held the Stallions to three runs on seven hits and two walks with four strikeouts.

SYRACUSE, NY– Freshman Will Allocca (University of Virginia) contributed two RBI for the Pilots, as the Flames have now lost five straight games. Sophomore Chris Vitale (Erie Community College) let up three runs, four hits and one walk, striking out three, in six innings of work. Sophomore Matt Carey (Ithaca College/Webster Thomas) drove in a run for the Flames. The Flames’ freshman Ryan Marketell (Monroe Community College/Webster Thomas) threw one scoreless inning for the Flames, giving up one hit and striking out one.

ONEONTA, NY– Junior John Conti (Canisius College) and freshman Chris Stefl (St. John’s University) combined to knock in six runs on four hits for the Jammers, who have now won eight consecutive games. Redshirt junior Mike Ginther (Canisius College) kept the Outlaws to three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks with three strikeouts.

GENEVA, NY– Incoming freshman Allbry Major (Xavier University) plated two runs on two hits in the Pioneers seventh straight win. Sophomore Grant Donahue (University of Virginia) punched out seven over five scoreless innings, allowing two hits and one walk for the Pioneers. Junior Alex Bellardini (Youngstown State University/Monroe Community College) surrendered two runs (one earned) on five hits and one walk while fanning six in seven innings of work for the Red Wings.
