ELMIRA, NY– Junior Skyler Valentine (University of Texas-San Antonio) drove in two runs with two doubles as the Jammers won game one of the doubleheader. Redshirt junior Cory Blessing (Ohio University) threw six scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and striking out two. Redshirt sophomore Jake Hamilton (University of Kentucky) gave up three runs on seven hits and one walk with four strikeouts.

ELMIRA, NY– Junior Alex O’Donnell (Mercyhurst University) plated five runs with two hits for the Jammers, who handed the Pioneers a seventh straight loss. Sophomore Colin Johnston (Monroe Community College/Greece Athena) earned the win with two-and-two-thirds innings, giving up four hits and striking out one. Freshman Zach Eggers (Old Dominion University) was tagged with five runs (four earned) on eight hits and two walks with one strikeout in five innings.

AMSTERDAM, NY– Freshman TJ Collett (University of Kentucky) plated five RBI for the Mohawks in the game one win. Freshman Andrew Saalfrank (Indiana University) tossed a complete game, striking out seven and letting up two runs on two hits and one walk. Sophomore Matt Jones (Manhattan College) surrendered 11 runs (nine earned) on 10 hits and three walks with one strikeout.

AMSTERDAM, NY– Freshman Dustin Skelton (Mississippi State) knocked in two runs to help the Mohawks win a seventh straight game. Freshman Holden White (Wake Forest University) started for the Mohawks, going two and-two-thirds innings giving up one run on four hits with six strikeouts. Freshman Drew Farkas (University of Hartford) let up six runs (four earned) on eight hits and one walk, punching out two.

GLENS FALLS, NY– Sophomores Ryan Beamish (Lee University) and Jared Morello (College of St. Joseph) each had two RBI in the game one win for the Dragons. Sophomore Brandon Budlong (Johnson and Wales University) went all seven innings, allowing five runs on nine hits and three walks with six punch outs. Freshman Nick Estrella (Azusa Pacific University) also drove in two runs for the Dutchmen. Freshman Teddy Paisley (University of Virginia) exited after two-and-two-thirds innings and let up six runs (three earned) on five hits and three walks, fanning two.

GLENS FALLS, NY– Freshman Phoenix Hernandez (Southern New Hampshire University) had three RBI on two hits as the Dragons won a second straight game. Redshirt sophomore Tom Taplin (University at Buffalo) gave the Dragons four innings of three runs, three hits and two walks allowed, striking out two. Freshman Trace Tyre (Ole Miss) drove in four runs with two hits for the Dutchmen. Freshman Thomas Spinelli (Ole Miss) walked six batters, giving up four runs and one hit with three strikeouts in two-and-one-third innings.

BOONVILLE, NY– Freshman Bailey Collins (Concordia University Irvine) went 2-for-4 with four RBI as the Trail Blazers won game one. Freshman Jonathan Hardy (Mohawk Valley Community College) pitched six innings, giving up two runs, five hits and two walks, setting down three by strikeout. Junior Kyle Norman (University at Buffalo) drove in both of the Blue Sox runs on two hits. Freshman Louie Varland (Concordia University St. Paul) left after 12 runs, eight hits and three walks surrendered, striking out seven over four innings.

BOONVILLE, NY– Redshirt junior Tyler Bruno (Iona College) and freshman Joe Simone (Rider University) each provided two RBI for the Trail Blazers which handed the Blue Sox a fourth straight loss. Freshman Jake Walker (University of Rhode Island) set down six batters by strikeout, letting up one run on four hits and two walks in six innings. Sophomore Jimmy Mendyk (Long Island University-Post) knocked in two runs for the Blue Sox. Sophomore Brendan McNerney (RPI) tossed six-and-one-third innings and let up five runs (four earned) on five hits and four walks, fanning eight hitters.

ONEONTA, NY– Junior Austin Pollack (Hofstra University) and sophomores Clay Konienicki (Monmouth University) and Tim Zeng (Fairfield University) combined for 11 RBI and 12 hits in the DiamondDawgs second straight win. Sophomore Jonathan McKinney (Southern Union State Community College) fanned six and allowed one hit and one walk in eight scoreless innings. Sophomore Cal Lawrence (University of Binghamton) threw six innings and let up 13 runs (nine earned) on 15 hits with three strikeouts.

NEWARK, NY– Freshman Alex Canty (Monroe Community College/Batavia) and junior Trey Baur (Cornell University) plated two runs a piece to help give the Flames a fourth straight win. Redshirt freshman Chase Hagerty (Southeast Missouri State University) punched out eight over four innings, giving up four runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks. Freshman Ryan Marketell (Monroe Community College/Webster Thomas) pitched one inning in relief for the Flames, allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits and two walks with one strikeout to earn the win. Sophomore Chris Vitale (Erie Community College) gave way after one-and-two-thirds innings, surrendering seven runs (five earned) on one hit and four walks, striking out three.
