SYRACUSE, NY– Junior Gage Lanning (Canisius College) drove in two runs on two hits for the Flames, who took the first game of the doubleheader. Sophomore Brian Nolan (Oswego State) threw five-and-one-third innings, allowing one unearned run on four hits and five walks with four strikeouts. Newark sophomore Henry Martinez (Cypress College) tossed six innings, giving up four runs (three earned) on seven hits and two walks, striking six strikeouts.

SYRACUSE, NY– Sophomore Emmett Dunn (St. Lawrence College) pitched six scoreless innings with two hits and four walks let up, recording one strikeout, as the Flames earned the sweep and a fifth straight win. Freshman Ryan Marketell (Monroe Community College/Webster Thomas) provided a scoreless two-thirds of an inning in relief for the Flames, allowing two runs and striking out one. Freshman Kyle Griffen (Louisiana Tech) lasted four-and-two-thirds innings, surrendering two runs on five hits and five walks, fanning three.

ALBANY, NY– Incoming freshman Tyler Kelder (St. Bonaventure University) went 3-for-5 with three RBI in the Stallions’ third straight win. Fellow incoming freshman Avery Short (Siena College) held the Dutchmen scoreless in six innings of work, giving up five hits and two walks with three strikeouts. Freshman Daniel Fischer (University of Louisville) started for the Dutchmen, but did not register an inning, letting up two runs and one hit, exiting before recording an out.

UTICA, NY– Freshmen TJ Collett (University of Kentucky) and Dylan Reynolds (Fairfield College), as well as junior Julian Gallup (Niagara University), knocked home two runs each to help the Mohawks win a third straight game. Freshman Brandon Reitz (Florida State) surrendered three runs on five hits and two walks, fanning five. Sophomores Mitch Calandra (Eckerd College) and Robbie Young (Garden City Community College) plated two RBI a piece for the Blue Sox. Incoming freshman Garret Keough (Holy Cross College) left after five-and-two-thirds innings, giving up seven runs (five earned) on seven hits and four walks with one strikeout.

GLENS FALLS, NY– Juniors Ben Dubas (Alvernia University) and Mark Flynn (Columbia University) contributed a collective four RBI for the Outlaws, who have won their last two games. Freshman Michael White (Stonehill College) set down seven batters via strikeout, pitching five innings and allowing three runs on six hits and two walks. Junior Andrew Aikins (Skidmore College) gave up five runs on seven hits and two walks, striking out three in five innings.

GENEVA RED WINGS (11-6) 1
GENEVA, NY– Freshman Slater O’Brien (Saint Joseph’s University) cruised to seven scoreless innings for the Red Wings, who now sit one game back of the Jammers for first in the West Division, letting up two hits and four walks with three strikeouts. Junior Nate Grant (St. Bonaventure University) kept the Red Wings to one run on six hits and one walk, adding a strikeout over six innings. Sophomore Colin Johnston (Monroe Community College/Greece Athena) came in as a reliever for the Jammers, going two scoreless innings with two hits and one walk surrendered, punching out two.
