HORNELL — Jared Kapturasky went 3-for-5 including a two-run home run in the bottom of the first, and the Dodgers won their sixth straight game. Jack Brett finished with two hits including a three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth as the Dodgers grabbed a 10-1 advantage. Maddux Minton lasted five innings allowing one run on two hits. The right-hander fanned two as he picked up his second win of the season.

OLEAN — Dylan Ott went 3-for-3 with an RBI walk. Joseph Tevlin had a pair of hits, and the Crush moved into a tie for first place with Sherrill in the NYCBL’s Eastern Division. Will Ginsberg went four and a third innings allowing one run on four hits. The left-hander fanned three. Reliever Tyler Howard went an inning and two-thirds allowing one run on one hit to pick up his first win of the season.

ROCHESTER — JP Knight finished 2-for-3 with an RBI. John Zamites went 2-for-5 including a single in the second inning that plated two, and the Rapids handed Rochester their fourth-straight loss. Austin March tossed seven and two-third innings allowing one run on two hits. The right-hander fanned nine to pick up the win.

Syracuse Salt Cats (6-8) 3
SYRACUSE — Trip McCaffrey finished 3-for-5 including an RBI triple in the ninth, and the Generals moved within a game and a half of Sherrill and Cortland atop the Eastern Division. Carmine Giordano went 3-for-4 including a triple in the ninth that plated Caleb Kerbs. Colin Shunk set down eight on strikes and allowed one run on four hits over six innings. Reliever Jameson Carey tossed two innings allowing two runs on two hits and fanned five as he picked up his first win of the season.
