WELLSVILLE — Dakota Chmiel’s only hit of the night was a walk-off home run in the bottom of the tenth as the Nitros snapped the Dodgers six-game winning streak. Jared Kapturasky allowed back-to-back walks in the bottom of the ninth as the Nitros tied the game at four. Christopher Testa went 2-for-3 including a double in the third that resulted in two runs.

Sherrill Silversmiths (9-5) 8
SHERRILL — Justin Stromski got the offense going in the bottom of the fourth with a three-run home run as the Silversmiths have won the last two contests against the Generals. Angelo Baez went 2-for-3 with an RBI while both Jake Coro and Kingsley Ballao had two hits apiece. The Silversmiths remained tied in first place with Cortland in the Eastern Division.
Syracuse Salt Cats (6-9) 1
Syracuse Spartans (7-5) 2
SYRACUSE — Jay Perry didn’t have any hits but finished the game with a walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth as the Spartans took down the Salt Cats once again. Perry drove in Julian Gutierrez in the bottom of the seventh with a fielder’s choice to tie the game at one. Michael Bubniak went six and two-third innings allowing one run on five hits and fanned two. The Spartans are now 4-0 against the Salt Cats this season. Maxwell Bain tossed six innings allowing no runs on two hits with seven strikeouts for the Salt Cats.
Rochester Ridgemen (3-11) 2
Cortland Crush (9-5) 17
CORTLAND — David White went 3-for-5 with five RBI including two home runs as the Crush won their third straight game. Both of White’s home runs were in the bottom of the third as the Crush tallied ten runs in that inning. Alex Flock went 1-for-4 including a grand slam in the third. Tyler Ault finished with four hits. Daniel Hayden fanned six in six innings to pick up his first win of the season. The right-hander allowed two runs on one hit.
Olean Oilers (6-10) 6
Genesee Rapids (7-10) 3
HOUGHTON — Austin Braendal recorded a single in the seventh inning that plated two to give Olean a 4-3 lead. The Oilers are (4-1) in their last five games. Kyle Warner tossed seven innings allowing a pair of runs on five hits. The left-hander fanned four to pick up his first win of the season. The Oilers are now six games behind the first-place Dodgers in the Western Division.
