UTICA, NY– Freshman Alex Kashgarian (Hudson Valley Community College) drove in two runs on two hits as the Mohawks dropped the Blue Sox below .500. Sophomore Thomas Lane (Boston College) threw four-and-one-third innings, allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks with four strikeouts. Sophomore Jared Tietgen (Rio Hondo Community College) lasted seven innings and gave up five runs on seven hits and three walks, striking out three.

BOONVILLE, NY– Nate Novak went 3-for-4 with three RBI to help the Athletics of the AABC to the exhibition win. Nelson Bird left the game after two innings, letting up six runs (four earned) on five hits and two walks, striking out three. Sophomore Bret Huebner (Furman University) went 3-for-3 with five RBI for the Trail Blazers. Junior Joe Hamrick (Hillsdale College) surrendered six runs, six hits and seven walks, while striking out four over five innings.

GLENS FALLS, NY– Redshirt junior Mark Powell (College of Saint Rose) delivered a walk-off, three-run single in the 11th inning, giving the Dragons the comeback win. Sophomore Brandon Budlong (Johnson & Wales) pitched five innings, giving up three runs on eight hits and four walks with eight strikeouts. Junior Bronson Grubbs (Sacramento State) had three hits and two RBI for the DiamondDawgs. Sophomore Jonathan McKinney (Southern Union State Community College) tossed six innings and let up three runs on six hits and three walks, striking out one.

NEWARK, NY– Sophomore Matt Carey (Ithaca College) and freshman Wyatt Myers (University at Buffalo) each drove in three RBI for the Flames to keep the Pilots at one win. Sophomore Jake Binder (Ithaca College) made it five innings and gave up two runs on five hits and two walks with three strikeouts. Junior Adam Donovan (DeSales University) left after four-and-one-third innings, allowing six runs, eight hits and four walks with strikeout.

SAUGERTIES, NY– Freshman Nick Estrella (Azusa Pacific University) drove in two runs for the Dutchmen while the Stallions fell to .500. Sophomore Tommy Miller (Siena College) lasted five innings, giving up two runs on six hits and one walk with five strikeouts. Redshirt freshman Austin Batchelor (Boston College) exited after one-and-one-third innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on four walks with a strikeout.

ELMIRA, NY– Sophomore Joseph Tassin (Bossier Parish Community College) knocked in four runs on two hits to help keep the Red Wings in second place. Junior Brian Reed (RIT/Penfield High) fanned 12 batters over seven scoreless innings, surrendering three hits and two walks. Sophomore Alvin Vega (Canisius College) threw one inning for the Pioneers, giving up two runs on two hits and one walk.

ONEONTA, NY– Junior Chris Estrada (University of Texas-San Antonio) collected five hits and four RBI in six at bats as the Jammers stayed atop the West Division with a league-high six wins while the Outlaws continued to search for their first victory. Freshman Kyle Backofen (University of Louisiana-Monroe) started for the Jammers, letting up two runs (none earned) on six hits with four strikeouts. Freshman Josh Winkler (Northeastern University) tossed three-and-one-third and allowed five runs on seven hits and four walks with three strikeouts.
