PGCBL Roundup: Pioneers win rain-soaked day’s lone game

JAMESTOWN, NY– Freshman Brett Vosik (Kansas University) went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored as the Pioneers scored four runs in the top of the ninth for the comeback win. Freshman Houston Roth (Ole Miss) struck out six and allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks in five innings, having been ejected in the top of the sixth. Jamestown’s Christian Young (Niagara County Community College) lasted seven scoreless innings on the mound, giving up four hits and three walks while striking out 10 batters.
