NEW YORK, NY– Kurt Suzuki contributed a three-run home run for the Braves to extend the Mets’ losing streak to six straight. RA Dickey let up three runs (two earned) on five hits and two walks in five innings for the Braves. Jose Reyes gave the Mets two RBI on two hits. Matt Harvey struggled for the Mets, lasting four-and-one-third innings and allowing six runs on five hits and five walks.

ST. LOUIS, MO– Matt Carpenter clubbed a walk-off grand slam in the 11th inning as the Cardinals captured game one of a doubleheader. Carlos Martinez went six innings, giving up three runs on five hits and three walks for the Cardinals. Ryan Goins picked up a pair of RBI for the Blue Jays. Mat Latos got the start for the Blue Jays, throwing six shutout innings while letting up three hits and four walks.

ST. LOUIS, MO– Matt Adams helped secure the doubleheader sweep with three RBI on three hits for the Cardinals. Adam Wainwright ate up six-and-one-third innings for the Cardinals, allowing four runs, nine hits and one walk. Kendrys Morales drove in three runs for the Blue Jays on a fifth inning home run. Casey Lawrence went five innings for the Blue Jays and gave up six runs, 10 hits and walked three.

Julio Urias held the Giants to one run, four hits and four walks in five-and-two-thirds innings. Matt Moore made it seven innings while only allowing one run, two hits and three walks for the Giants.
