PHILADELPHIA – La Salle University junior forward B.J. Johnson will declare for the NBA Draft but will not sign with an agent, he announced on Thursday. Johnson remains eligible to return to La Salle by not hiring an agent for this process.
“My goal is to play the game I love professionally,” Johnson says. “This decision will give me the opportunity to test myself, better myself and receive important feedback in pursuit of this goal.”
Johnson, who was recently named Second Team All-District by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, led the Explorers in scoring (17.6 ppg) and rebounding (6.3) in 2016-17.
