The Canisius athletic department announced a pair of game time changes today for the Golden Griffins’ annual home basketball doubleheader with long-time rival Niagara, set for Friday, Feb. 10.
The women’s basketball game will tipoff off at 5:30 p.m., with the men’s game starting at 8 p.m. Both games will be broadcast live on ESPN3.
Tickets for the doubleheader are on sale now through the Canisius Ticket Office by calling (716) 888-TIXX, or online at Ticketmaster.com. Tickets cost $17 for reserved seats and $8 for general admission. Tickets are good for both games.
Additionally, the athletic department announced that the Griffins’ Den will be open to fans that night at 6 p.m.
The Canisius women’s team has won two straight and three of its last four outings after dropping Fairfield at home Jan. 22 by a score of 63-49. The Griffs will return to action Thursday, Jan. 26, when the team plays at Siena.
The men’s team is 12-9 overall and 5-5 in MAAC play after the Blue and Gold lost at Niagara Jan. 23. The men’s team will play its next two games at home, starting Saturday, Jan. 28 when Manhattan travels to the Koessler Athletic Center. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
