Galloway paces New Orleans comeback

Rundown of Saturday’s NBA action. 

NEW ORLEANS 121 CHARLOTTE 116

Langston Galloway (Saint Joseph’s) scored 15 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter as the Pelicans erased an 11-point deficit to send the game into overtime. Anthony Davis paced New Orleans 38 points (eight in overtime) and 16 rebounds.

HOUSTON 111 UTAH 102

James Harden led the Rockets with 31 points on 10-of-24 shooting. Clint Capela and Eric Gordon added 20 apiece for the Rockets which have won three of four.

MIAMI 114 WASHINGTON 111

Goran Dragic led six in double figures as the Heat held off a late push by Washington. Dragic hit 7 of 14 from the floor and handed out seven  assists. Dion Waiters dished a team-high eight helpers for the Heat. Wizards John Wall scored seven of  his 34 points in the final minute as Washington turned a 14-point deficit into a one-possession game. Andrew Nicholson (St. Bonaventure) scored four points off the bench for Washington.

ORLANDO 95 DALLAS 87

D.J. Augustin came off the bench to lead the Magic with 18 points and six rebounds. Bismarck Biyombo (13 points/10 rebounds) and Nikola Vucevic (12 points/12 rebounds) chipped in for the Magic.

BOSTON 94 DETROIT 92

Playing for the first time in the month of November (nine games), Al Horford finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Horford scored the game winner on a putback with 1.3 seconds remaining. Horford suffered a concussion in late October.

PHILADELPHIA 120 PHOENIX 105

Joel Embiid scored 26 points in 20 minutes as the 76er won for just the third time this season but second time their last three games.

MEMPHIS 93 MINNESOTA 71

JaMychal Green netted 19, and Zach Randolph added 18 off the bench for the Grizzlies.

GOLDEN STATE 124 MILWAUKEE 121

Kevin Durant dropped 33, and Klay Thompson added 29 as the Warriors won their seventh straight.

LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 102 CHICAGO 95

Blake Griffin paced the Clippers with 26 points, 13 rebounds and five assists.
