BRONX, N.Y. –The St. Bonaventure University men’s soccer team fell to Fordham, 4-0, in its regular season finale Saturday night.

Fordham got on the board early as Cole Stevenson found the back of the net 10:34 into the game. Just six minutes later, Joergen Oland gave the Rams a 2-0 lead.

The Rams grabbed a third goal with 48 seconds remaining in the first half to take a 3-0 lead into the break.

Eight minutes into the second half, Jannik Loebe netted his fifth goal of the season to give Fordham a 4-0 lead that would eventually hold as the final score.

Kieran Toland gave the Bonnies their first opportunity to score as he earned the team’s first shot on net at the 25:14 mark. Paul Afful fired two strikes that forced the Fordham keeper, Rashid Nuhu, to make saves. Afful’s first shot on goal came at the 32:44 mark and his second came shortly after halftime at the 50:02 mark.

The Bonnies were credited with seven total shots. Afful led the way with two, while Kwame Opoku, Kosi Nwafornso, Isaiah Wilson, Anthony Gaglianese and Toland had one apiece.
