Rider finished 13-20 (8-12 in MAAC play) last season and fell to Monmouth in the MAAC quarter-finals.

Jordan Allen G 6-3, 190 Dover, DE/Dover
Four-year letterwinner for basketball…as a senior, First Team All-State and All-Conference…Gatorade Player of the Year…career 1,000 point scorer…as a junior, Second Team All-State and First Team All-Conference…averaged 26.5 points per game, leading the State of Delaware in scoring…as a sophomore, earned Second Team All-Conference honors.

Norville Carey F 6-7, 228 British, VI/Red Lion Christian Academy (Southern Miss)
Will play the 2016-17 season as a graduate student after earning a Sociology degree at Southern Miss.
At University of Southern Miss:
Appeared in 90 games, making 16 starts for the Golden Eagles before red-shirting his senior season…career 52.9 percent shooter…averaged 5.5 points per game…as a junior, appeared in 27 games, starting 16…averaged 10.8 points and was second on the team with 5.6 rebounds…eighth in Conference USA in field goal percentage, connecting on 54.6% from the field…led the team in rebounding 13 times and scoring three times and recorded 16 double figure scoring games with three ‘double-doubles’…played in 26 games as a sophomore, averaging 1.9 points and 1.3 rebounds…averaged 4.2 points and 2.2 rebounds as a freshman in 37 games…connected on 51.8-percent from the field.
At Red Lion Christian Academy:
Played for coach Tom Purse…named Second Team All-State by ESPNHS.com…named All-State Honorable Mention by the Delaware Sportswriters and Broadcasters Association…was the fifth-ranked player in Delaware by MaxPreps.com…led RLCA to a 19-4 record and a runner-up finish in the state tournament as a senior…averaged 19.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks…as a junior, averaged 13.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1.7 blocks, leading the team to a 20-4 record…participated in the 2011 CBC Championships, averaging 7.3 points and 2.3 rebounds…son of Norville Carey and Sharmaine Hodge.
Stevie Jordan G 5-10, 170 Bensalem, PA/ Conwell-Egan/API
At Conwell-Egan High School:
as a junior led Conwell-Egan to a 21-8 record and the AA State Championships, averaging 16.8 points per game…earned All-State honors…averaged 10.7 ppg as a sophomore…played for Philly Pride AAU team before his senior year.

He was one of the better point guards in the Philadelphia Catholic League, one of the top ten leagues in the United States. He can run a team, has good vision. Xzavier Malone G 6-4, 172 Philadelphia, PA/ Plymouth Whitemarsh
At Plymouth Whitemarsh High School:
Two-year letterwinner for basketball…scored 1,173 career points including 600 points during his senior season…scored 30 points against Chester in the district championship game hosted by Temple University…Second Team All-State, First Team All-Area and First Team All-League honors…team MVP as a senior…academic honor roll as a senior.
What they’re saying about Xzavier Malone – Allen Rubin/Hoop Scoop: “He’s an athletic wing. He’s alefty who really gets to the rim where he finishes with power or finesse. He draws fouls and shoots well from mid-range. His three-point shot has really improved.”
Steve Keller/National Recruiting Report: “He is a two-three who can make plays in the lane and hit jumpers from the outside.”
Tyere Marshall C 6-8, 220 Philadelphia, PA/ Martin Luther King/ Putnam
At Martin Luther King High School:
Played on the Philly Pride in the Under Armour Association.
What they’re saying about Tyere Marshall – Allen Rubin/Hoop Scoop: “He’s a good low-post player who play within his limitations. He has good footwork around the basket and is a good rebounder. He’s a good post defender.”
Steve Keller/National Recruiting Report: “He came on late in his career at Martin Luther King. He will be a pretty good post player. He’s got some hop, can run. He’s got a lot of upside.”
Dimencio Vaughn G/F 6-5,210 New York, N.Y./ Callaway/Masters School
At The Masters School:
Averaged 24 points and 8.5 rebounds in 2015-16 as a post-grad…son of Sarah Perez…played at Callaway High School in 2014-15.
At Thurgood Marshall Academy:
Averaged 23.6 points, 12.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game in 2013-14, helping his team to a 13-2 record.
What they’re saying about Dimencio Vaughn – Jamie Shaw/Phenom Hoop Report: “Vaughn is a great athlete and takes pride in being a lock down defender. Although he is good in transition and can play through contact and above the rim, his earliest contributions should come as a multi-positional defensive stopper.”
