Anoj Sharma collected a goal and an assist on the evening. The senior has scored seven goals this season. None more important than the tally in the 74th minute of Tuesday’s match. After Wayne’s Brandon Albano cut Wilson’s 2-0 lead in half with a blistering shot from 22 yards out, Sharma responded 1:21 later. READ MORE.

Jack Brautigam netted a pair of first-half goals. Zach Dormer had a goal and an assist. Aiden Peterson chipped in with a goal while Felipe Gonzalez and Stefan Radak contributed assists for the winners.
No. 2 Alfred-Almond 4 No. 3 Mount Morris 0
Jake Johnston netted a hat trick for Alfred-Almond which will go for its second straight straight sectional title on Friday. Johnston, who scored his second goal in the 17th minute, added an assist. Cory Olix scored once and assisted on two of Johnston’s goals. Duncan Allen added an assist. Alfred-Almond and Naples will meet Friday at Cohocton. A 7 p.m. start time is scheduled.
Class D2
No. 4 Andover 3 No. 1 Belfast 0
Derek Bush tallied twice. Dakota Gavin added a goal and an assist as Andover (14-5) defeated Belfast (16-2) for the second time this season. Andover took the earlier meeting, 6-1. Hunter Greene and Chris Calladine contributed assists.
No. 2 CG Finney 2 No. 3 Avoca 0
Nicky DAngelo netted a first-half goal, and Emmanuel Rubingu connected in the second half. Andover defeated Finney, 2-1 in the 2015 sectional final. A 6 p.m. start time at Cohocton is scheduled Friday night.
