The Canisius men’s basketball game at Kentucky, set for Sunday, Nov. 13, will be broadcast to a live national TV audience on ESPN2, the network announced today. Game time in Rupp Arena is set for 6 p.m.

The appearance on ESPN2 will be the Golden Griffins’ first since the 2003-04 season, when Canisius took part in the Great Alaska Shootout. The Griffs’ full broadcast schedule will be announced in the next few weeks.

Canisius will officially open the 113th season in school history at Kentucky as part of the Bluegrass Showcase. That game will also be for the first for new head coach Reggie Witherspoon, who took over the program May 28.
