St. Bonaventure 79 Dayton 72
Jaylen Adams scored 31 points, including a go-ahead three-pointer with 36 seconds left, to lead St. Bonaventure to a 79-72 win over Dayton Saturday afternoon at UD Arena.
With the game tied at 72, Adams launched a shot from the right wing that gave the Bonnies a 75-72 lead. On the Flyers’ ensuing possession, Charles Cooke’s runner in the lane rimmed out and the ball went out of bounds off Dayton. VCU 87 Richmond 74
VCU senior Melvin Johnson hit a pair of late threes to fuel a run that put Richmond away for good and finished with 20 points as the Rams knocked off the Spiders 87-74 Friday night. Johnson hit four 3-pointers in the game to tie B.A. Walker as VCU’s career leader with 269. READ MORE.

UMass 70 George Mason 64
University of Massachusetts men’s basketball built a 16-point lead during the first half and held off a late George Mason charge for a 70-64 victory at the Mullins Center Sunday afternoon. Jabarie Hinds scored a game-best 17 points as the redshirt senior point guard shot 6-for-12 overall and 5-of-6 at the foul line with four assists. READ MORE.
