It was a Saturday full of milestone in #A10WBB; a three-point record for Sandra Ngoie, a new member of the 1K club for Duquesne, a scoring output not seen in just under 10 years in Saint Louis, and a free throw master in Richmond all made up an exciting Saturday in #A10WBB. As for Sunday, a milestone on #PinkDay, an “I guess I got my swagger back win” for GW, and a big win for Rhody made up an exciting afternoon.

Dayton 82, St. Joseph’s 64
It was #PinkDay inside UD Arena, as the Flyers extended their home winning streak to five straight. Senior Andrea Hoover was able to break the program’s three-point record and added 17 points for Dayton.

#20 George Washington 70, St. Bonaventure 48
It was not exactly a battle of the frontcourts, but a domination of GW’s frontcourt, yet again two Colonials were able to post double-doubles, Jonquel Jones (13 points, 17 rebounds, and eight assists) and Caira Washington (18 points, 11 rebounds), as George Washington got back on track.

Rhode Island 71, Fordham 56
Rhode Island’s big win over defending Atlantic 10 champion Fordham, secured the first winning season for the Rhode Island in 11 years. Junior Samantha Tabakman added a season-high 22 points.

Saturday’s Results:

George Mason 86, VCU 79
For the Patriots a different scoring hero guided them to victory Saturday afternoon; Sandra Ngoie not only poured in 29 points but she tied the program record for three-pointers made with seven; Ngoie would also add 10 rebounds on her way to her second double-double of the season.

Duquesne 69, Massachusetts 49
Three Dukes were able to score in double-figures. April Robinson reached the 1,000 point milestone, making her the 26th member of the programs 1K club. Duquesne was also able to secure a winning season for the seventh consecutive year.

Saint Louis 77, Davidson 59
If you want to talk about a team that is getting hot at the right time, the Saint Louis Billikens should be at the forefront of your conversation. With the victory, the Billikens have now evened their conference win-loss record at six a piece and have scored 70 or more points in four consecutive games for the first time since the 2006-07 season.

Richmond 72, La Salle 60
Redshirt-senior Genevieve Okoro was able to tie the school record for free throws made in a game with 19 in the Spiders victory over La Salle. Okoro finished 19-22 from the line, well on her way to a career-high 27 points; the Gibbsboro, N.J. native also added a season-high 15 rebounds, giving her the 27th double-double of her career.
