Saturday’s results from Atlantic Sun men’s basketball.

The Atlantic Sun Conference had a busy Saturday afternoon competing in five non-league games. Victorious in three out of five games, leading performances were headlined by USC Upstate’s Ty Green and Kennesaw State’s Yonel Brown.

Florida A&M 60 Stetson University 65
Grant Lozoya led the Stetson University Hatters with 18 points, as the team shot 41 percent from the field. Florida A&M’s Jermaine Ruttley had a game high 24 points.

Thomas University 66 Kennesaw State 92
Yonel Brown led Kennesaw State with 36 buckets also chipping in five boards and two steals, as the Owls coast past Thomas University

Hampton 54 USC Upstate 68
Ty Green propelled the Spartans to victory, leading the team with 26 points. Fred Miller also chipped in 10 points and 5 boards for USC Upstate.

Toledo 57 Northern Kentucky University 55
In the hard fought battle between Toledo and NKU, Toledo’s JD Weatherspoon led all in scoring with 18 points. NKU’s Tayler Persons had 11 points.

Lipscomb 60 Missouri 72
Nathan Moran led all scoring with 17 points, although it proved not to be enough as Lipscomb falls to the SEC power Missouri on Saturday.
