Counting down to tipoff and previewing the incoming freshmen of the Patriot League with a look at the first-year players of the Boston University Terriers. 

The Terriers finished 24-11 (15-3 PL) and lost to Illinois in the first round of the 2014 NIT. Joe Jones and his staff welcome four freshmen to campus: Will Goff, Nick Havener, Eric Johnson and Cheddi Mosely. 

Will Goff Fr. G 6-4, 175 Scottsdale, AZ/ Desert Mountain

A two-time team captain at Desert Mountain H.S. … Received All-City honors his senior year … Reached the state semifinals as a junior and was named a D-I honorable mention … Helped team win the Holiday Hoops Fest title his sophomore and junior seasons at Boulder Creek … Played on the varsity golf team as a freshman … Played soccer before high school and won two state titles … Named to the All-City Academic Team. 

Nick Havener Fr. F 6-8, 200 Sarasota, FL/ Riverview

Eric Johnson Fr. G 6-2, 180 Martinsville, VA/ Carlisle

Cheddi Mosely Fr. G 6-3, 175 Oceanport, NJ/ St. Anthony’s

What they’re saying about Cheddi Mosely – Allen Rubin/ Hoop Scoop: “He’s a very good 2-guard. He’s a good shooter and a good slasher. He plays smart and defends.”

Jay Gomes/ NJHoops.com: “Cheddi is good. He is a point guard with good size, athleticism and toughness. He’s obviously been well-coached out of a great program. He is a winner, a hard-nosed competitor. He’ll be a good player up there.”
