Former Saint Joseph’s standout Ronald Roberts, Jr., has been named to the roster for the Philadelphia 76ers training camp which runs from September 30- October 4 at Stockton College in Galloway, N.J.

One of the most exciting players in school history, Roberts averaged a career-best 14.4 points while grabbing 7.4 rebounds per game for the 2014 A-10 Champion Hawks. He shot 60.0 percent from the field and finished his career ranked second on the all-time list for career field goal percentage (57.0).

Roberts, from Bayonne, N.J., was chosen to the All-A-10 Third Team and the All-Championship Team in 2014, while also earning selection to the All-Big 5 Second Team and sharing the team’s Most Valuable Player award with Langston Galloway and Halil Kanacevic.

The 6-8 forward finished his career with 1,398 points to rank 20th on the Hawks’ all-time list, and totaled 861 rebounds, which was the 12th best number in school history.

Roberts earned All-Atlantic 10 Third Team honors in his junior year and as a sophomore, was named the A-10 Sixth Man of the Year.
