NYCBL Power Rankings | Week 1 (6/1-6/8)

June 9, 2014 by Paul Gotham Leave a Comment

1.) Oneonta Outlaws (4-0)

Defending Champs come in as the only undefeated team. Need we say anymore?

2.) Hornell Dodgers (4-2)

After winning its first four games Dodgers have dropped two straight.

3.) Rochester Ridgemen (5-2)

Ridgemen sit atop the Western Divison after enjoying some home cooking in week one.

4.) Niagara Power (4-2)

Gritty Power club sparked behind several late-inning comebacks

5.) Geneva Red Wings (3-3)

Looking for some consistency on the mound to go with the third-ranked league batting average.

6.) Syracuse Salt Cats (4-4)

Which Salt Cats team will show up?

7.) Sherrill Silversmiths (3-4)

3-1 against teams not named Outlaws/Ridgemen.

8.) Wellsville Nitros (3-3)

Strong pitching has Nitros off to solid start.

9.) Cortland Crush (2-2)

Offense has struggled to match good starting pitching.

10.) Genesee Rapids (3-4)

Wins against two of the top Western Division teams highlight nice first week.

11.) Syracuse Jr. Chiefs (2-5)

League worst 5.95 ERA has put the Jr. Chiefs behind the ball.

12.) Geneva Twins (2-5)

2-1 against the runner-up Dodgers.

13.) Olean Oilers (1-4)

Better than the record, bullpen has faltered late in games.
