Think about this. People tell me it is no big deal that the University of Dayton beat Ole Miss in basketball Saturday night. They say the SEC is not a basketball conference, so don’t put stock in the fact that UD has won quite a few in a row over the SEC schools. SEC is all about football baby!!!  Well this BCS football business is way over the head of our little UD football program that competes in the Pioneer League and is a Division 1A FCS. They have been fairly successful in that division with no scholarship players. But look what happened this year.

Dayton beat Robert Morris 14-12 on 9-14

Robert Morris beat VMI 37-31(2 OT) on 9-28

VMI beat Charleston Southern 25-17 on 10-12

Charleston Southern beat Citadel 32-29 on 8-31

Citadel beat Samford 28-26 on 11-2

Samford beat Georgia Southern 44-34 on 10-5

Georgia Southern beat Florida 26-20 on 11-23

Florida beat Toledo 24-6 on 8-31

Toledo beat Navy 45-44 (2 OT) on 10-19

Navy beat Pitt 24-21on 10-26

Pitt beat Virginia 14-3 on 9-28

Virginia beat BYU 19-16 on 8-31

BYU beat #15 Texas 40-21on 9-7

Texas beat #12 Oklahoma 36-20 on 10-12

Oklahoma beat #3 Alabama 45-31 on 1-2-14

Therefore Dayton beat Alabama
