Hey baseball fans, here’s another episode of Around the Diamond with host Dave Holcomb. Congratulate us on being able to get through an entire show without mentioning Alex Rodriguez once. On today’s episode, we discuss the winning streaks in both leagues with the Tigers winning their last 12 and the Braves now on 13 straight wins. What has been the key to their success? Then, we move to other hot teams in baseball with Pittsburgh winning five in a row again and Texas catching first place Oakland in the standings. Will the Rangers get even better if they add Alex Rios to their lineup? In the third segment, Holcomb discusses the young stud pitchers in the National League, the status of the New York Yankees, and a former CY Young award winner returning to form… somewhat. It’s Around the Diamond with Dave Holcomb.
