CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — While the undefeated Bucknell Bison will have a pre-holiday break after a dominating weekend, the rest of the Patriot League teams will take the court at least once before Thanksgiving.
Lehigh will play on each of the next two nights as the Mountain Hawks host a subregional of the NIT Season Tip-Off.
Lehigh has a pair of challenging games as it takes on Fairfield on Monday and Penn on Tuesday, as both games tip off at 8:30 p.m. The Mountain Hawks are the last Patriot League team to open their home slate.
American is the only other Patriot League team with a home game as the Eagles welcome San Francisco on Monday. Patriot League squads are a combined 8-2 at home and all seven teams who have played on their own court have won at least once.
The action continues on Tuesday as Army, Navy and Lafayette hit the road in addition to Lehigh’s contest. The Black Knights are at St. Francis (NY), the Mids head to TCU in a game shown on Fox Sports Southwest and the Leopards are at Maryland. On Wednesday, the pre-holiday slate concludes as Colgate visits St. Francis (Pa.) and Holy Cross is at St. John’s on SportsNet New York.
Bucknell returns to action on Friday at Penn State when the Bison look for a 6-0 start that would be their best since the 1983-84 season.
