NEW ROCHELLE, NY – In the wake of devastating hurricane Sandy that hit the east coast last week, Iona College Athletics encourages all attendees for tomorrow’s men’s and women’s basketball season openers tomorrow night to bring donations to be delivered to those that are in need.
The following is a list of items that will be collected by members of the Iona College Athletic Department and the Office of Campus Ministries. This first collection will be delivered on Nov. 10 and 11. In addition to the collection site during the games, Campus Ministries will also be accepting donations throughout the day in the lobbies of LaPenta, McSpedon, Hagan, and Residence Halls.
