GENEVA, N.Y. — Anthony Dovale and two Geneva Twins relievers combined to shut out the Hornell Dodgers 3-0.  The Dodgers fall to 8-5 while the Twins improve to 7-6 on the year.

The Twins scored single runs in the first, second, and eighth innings and held the Dodgers to just five singles and a double.

Dovale tossed seven innings and allowed five hits while walking two and striking out four.  Alex Juday pitched the 8th and Stephen Joe struck out the side in the 9th to earn the save.

Adam Dickinson and Brandon Martinez were each 2 for 4 for the Twins while Kevin Johnson (Pittsburgh) was 2 for 4 for the Dodgers.

Jesse Frawley (Central Connecticut) went the first four innings and took the loss even though he only allowed one earned run and four hits.  Kyle Hathcock (NC Central) tossed 2.1 innings and allowed one run and Will Birge (Texas A&M Corpus Christi) went 1.1 innings and got out of a bases loaded jam in the 8th.

The Dodgers continue their four game road trip on Thursday when they travel to Webster for a 7 p.m. contest with AIA.
