PHILADELPHIA (04/14/12) – Temple University’s sophomore guard Aaron Brown has informed head coach Fran Dunphy of his intention to transfer to another school following the 2012 spring semester.

“Aaron Brown informed me of his desire to transfer this morning” said Dunphy. “He is a good man and we wish him all the best and he has been a valuable member of the team the past two years.”

Brown, a native of Hackensack, NJ and a product of St. Benedict’s Prep, played in all 32 games this past season, starting once.  The 6-5 guard averaged 6.4 points while ranking second on the squad in three-point percentage (39-94, .415).  He scored double figures eight times with a career-high 21 points in a win over Central Michigan.
