The Hawks won the only meeting this year 57-46 in overtime at the Hagan Arena on January 18, 2012.

    The unofficial spread from Las Vegas … St Joes (-8.5) with an over/under 123 points. What do you think?

    Opening tip is 13 minutes away, with the winner advancing to play the Richmond Spiders tomorrow afternoon at 2:30

    We are underway at the Hagan Arena! Scoreless until the 17:10 mark as Fordham’s Arielle Collins scores the first points of the game.

    Ashley Prim from downtown! The under 16 media timeout and the Hawks lead 3-2.

    Both teams look like they are starting to shake off early jitters.

    Timeout called by the Rams.

    Since the media timeout, the Hawks have outscored Fordham 8-2. Michelle Baker has scored a quick 6 for St. Joseph’s.

    Right out of the under 8 media timeout Charlotte Stottart sinks a pair of free throws and the Hawks lead is down to 5, 16-11.

    Michelle Baker drives, pulls up in the lane and hits the short jumper. St. Joe’s now leads 21-15.

    Baker appears to have landed funny and she is to the bench with a left ankle injury.

    After Fordham pulled within 2, the Hawks have responded with a 7-0 run.

    That is a final. The horn has sound and Saint Joseph’s has moved on the quarterfinals with a 63-52 win over Fordham. They move on to face Richmond in tomorrow’s quarterfinal action.
