I think the Mavs struggles early on show how valuable a commidity Tyson Chandler really is. Not only defensively, but he also gives you a legitimate, mobile big man. I don’t know if Brendan Haywood is a mobile big man. I think NO trading Chandler was the beginning of the end of CP3 in NO anyway. Okafur was not a pick-and-roll guy that could go up and get it. Chandler made CP3 look great on many plays. Now Blake Griffin has that luxury. If I’m building a team and I decide to get GREAT perimeter players, I’m trying my best to get Tyson Chandler on my team as the lone big man.

Great points. I’m not familiar with the contract negotiations between Chandler and Dallas. Hope the Mavs did not underestimate the importance of defense. Chandler brought so many intangibles to the Mavs title run.

Interesting comments on Okafur. Great athlete who is an average basketball player.

Temple beats Buffalo in OT. Is Buffalo the best 6-4 team in college basketball right now.

McCrea scores 28. Considering how he was outplayed by Nicholson – how talkative was he in this press conference.

That video stirs the great philosophical debate: If a tree falls in a crowded cafeteria,…

McCrea gets 28? Yeah, the Owls are starting to show signs of missing Michael Eric and Scootie Randall.

67 to 56??? Can someone tell me if the defenses even bothered to show up for the Washington/ Baylor game??

I think the Baylor basketball team gives up fewer points.

Vanderbilt loses at home to Cleveland State, Xavier and Indiana State, yet beats Marquette on the road. Hmmm…how is the strength of schedule matrix looking?
