BUFFALO, N.Y. – Friday night’s Canisius at UMKC men’s basketball game, scheduled to start at 8:05 p.m., Eastern time, will be shown live on ESPN3 and the ESPN Full Court Package, UMKC officials announced today. The game can also be seen live through the Golden Griffin Broadcast Network and MAAC.TV, courtesy of UMKC’s athletic website.
The game between the Golden Griffins and the Kangaroos will be the first of four scheduled appearances on ESPN3 for Canisius this season. The team will return to the online network Jan. 5, 2012, when the Blue and Gold travels to meet defending MAAC champion Saint Peter’s in Jersey City, N.J.
After a week off, Canisius returns to action with the non-league game at UMKC on Dec. 16, the program’s first game against the Kangaroos in school history. The Griffs will then travel to meet South Dakota on Sunday, Dec. 18, with tipoff set for 3 p.m., Eastern time.
