PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph’s University will induct eight former standouts into its Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, November 5 at the 10th Hall of Fame Celebration. The event will take place in the Doyle Banquet Hall (new location) at the Campion Student Center, with a reception beginning at 6 p.m.
The Class of 2011 is comprised of: Steve Ave ’89 (men’s track), Vicki Boyer ’94 (cross country/track), Phil Greipp ’64 (men’s rowing), Mike Hauer ’70 (men’s basketball), Dan Kelly ’70 (men’s basketball), Kevin Kirkby ’01 (baseball) and Terri Mohr ’86 (women’s basketball) and Jameer Nelson ’04 (men’s basketball).
Seven of the eight inductees will be in attendance on Saturday. Nelson will be unable to attend due to an event in Orlando for a charity of which he has great personal involvement.
The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a reception, dinner and induction ceremony
