It is that time again. Let’s hear from you, readers. We had another week of stellar performances. Pick the ONE (1), UNE, UNO from April 11-17th that stands out to you, and tell us a story.
Chris Paul grabs my POTW.
In what might be filed under enjoy it while you can, Paul led the New Orleans Hornets over the Los Angeles Lakers 109-100 in the first game of their opening round playoff series.
Paul scored 33 points, dished out 14 assists and grabbed seven rebounds as the Hornets quieted the Staples Center crowd.
After struggling through much of the season, Paul reminded fans of what he can do. Running pick-and-rolls, the New Orleans point guard had his way with the Laker defense.
Paul scored 17 points in the fourth quarter and led New Orleans on an 8-0 run to close the game.
Who gets your POTW?

I’ll go with the Colorado Rockies who are now a MLB best 12-3 after going a stout 6-1 last week. Leading the Rockies is Troy Tulowitzki, who has been on fire with 7 dingers and 14 RBI … he’s slugging at an .836 clip with an OPS of 1.322. Baseball is fun again in Denver.

Probably a little premature, but there’s already talk that Tulowitski may be ready to take over the title of the best player in baseball: https://mlb.sbnation.com/2011/4/15/2113566/has-troy-tulowitzki-passed-albert-pujols

Boy … that is premature. No denying Tulo is off to a GREAT start though. And to get these numbers at SS is awesome … but we need to see more weeks and months, if not years, before he officially gets “the crown”.

I am going with Kevin Na – a golfer on the PGA tour. At the PGA Texas Open he carded a 16 on the 9th hole and still shot a 80 for the day. That is just 8 over par for the day!
