Thank goodness March Madness is over. Not only did I have to endure repeats of some of my favorite shows, but then there was no POTW or WAI on Pickin’ Splinters. Sheesh. 😉
This thing started with 68 Hall of Famers (play-in round and everything) and now they’re down to the final 16. Of course, there aren’t any huge surprises, although Sandy Koufax making it to the round of 16 is a bit of a joke to me. Actually, him getting a #5 seed is ridiculous. He should get destroyed by Hank Aaron in that matchup.

Ryan Callahan out for season with broken leg or ankle. Why do the gods hate me so much?

Sorry, Bill … I have to ask …. Who’s Ryan Callahan? I’m guessing he’s a hockey player with Buffalo???

Speaking of hockey, specifically NCAA hockey, the Frozen Four Semi’s are tonight on ESPN!!!

Hockey player with the Rangers. He was out early in the season with a broken hand, the team started really coming together, and now on the eve of the playoffs, the Rangers have provided me with several more reasons to drink.
The Mets did the same thing last year with all the injuries, and then Santana goes down, so it looks like they’ll keep the suffering alive.
I don’t know why my luck is so bad, or the teams I like only win once every 30 years or so, but that’s the way it goes, at least for me.
At least the Mets kicked the Phillies the first game in the series the other night.

Hang in there, Bill. Like I said many weeks ago, when you feel bad about your teams, think about Cubs fans … and that should cure what ails ya!
At least you need a reason to drink. I, on the other hand …. 😉
Where’s the dang “Who Am I” ??? What a letdown! C’mon, man!
I hear ya, Wally.
Casey, if you’re really busy and need help with these regular features, just say the word.
We will return to our regularly scheduled programming next week. 🙂
