Xavier’s Tu Holloway grabs my POTW.
The junior point guard turned in a pair of outstanding performances as the Xavier Musketeers advanced to the finals of 2010 Paradise Jam tournament.
Friday, Holloway knocked down 28 points including two of five from behind the arc and 16-18 at the free throw line as the Muskies downed Iowa, 86-73. The native of Hempstead, New York also handed out seven assists and grabbed six rebounds.
Holloway followed that up with a 31 point, 3 assist outing as XU knocked off Seton Hall, 57-52. He hit three of eight from long range and added 10-13 at the charity stripe.
Xavier advanced to play Old Dominion in the finals.
