Great pictures Ab!! Thanks for sharing.

The Blue/White Out looks like it was a success.

After missing 4 free throws in the last 2 minutes of the game last night, Derrick Brown has been officially had his membership renewed to the XU Free Throw Club.

Ok Aaron, you point out a flaw of a player who is, for obvious reasons, NBA material. But I think most can agree that even on his worst day, he is a far more than average player. After a week of upsets, we had our turn.

In this day and age, no team can avoid the occasional upset. XU has actually done more avoiding than most (say UNC or WF). They are for real and will be a force to be reckoned with in March. Nice post Abbey.

And for the record – The world’s “Most Flexible Man” was both the funniest and grossest thing I have ever seen.

Ab – I agree with you about Derrick Brown – just being clever.

Last night, the Dukes won that game on great shooting and guard play. It wasn’t Derrick Brown’s or the rest of the Musketeers’ night.

BTW, B2 looked like pretty good seats. I know for sure I’ve had worse nose bleeds than you could get in B2. Ab, those pictures made me feel like I was there. Good photog skills!

    Pete

There was not a bad seat in the house. I will include more about this in my POTW for the week, but you might want to put the A.J. Palumbo Center on your list of places to catch a game. I was pleasantly surprised.

    Ab – great job hunny!!!!!!

My seats were very good. Ironically, I was in section A10. Dad, I felt like I was in a high school gym. The Duquesne student section added to that feeling.

It’s weird the range of venues you can get in college sports, especially in a league like the A10. Some are HS-like, and some are overwhelming in their size and quality. Per Casey’s suggestion, I hope to sample the A10 and the Palumbo Center in particular on my retirement travels to sports venues across the USA.
