It would have been really interesting if the seedings had worked out slightly differently and we had Florida-Oklahoma and USC-PSU, two games that are actually happening. Then, Casey would have the option of letting their on-field matchups determine those games. Quite interesting.

Couple of Heisman “losers” match up, and Tebow continues to show the way, outplaying McCoy, though not by much; 35-31.

On the field, or in cyberspace, PSU prevails. The Paterno announcement continues to spark fast starts, and PSU hangs on to win, also by 35-31.

Texas beats Florida 27-24 on a FG with 1:45 left. Gators drive down to the Longhorn 35, but fumble on a 3rd and 2 play with 25 seconds left.

Trojan defense is just too much for Penn State, who just don’t have the QB to run an efficient enough passing attack. USC has 8 in the box all day and dares Clark to pass but he’s just not finding the open WRs. Trojans win 20-13, capitalizing on a punt return for TD midway thru 4th quarter to break a 13 all tie.

Texas shows they deserved the title game more than Florida, 31-27.

Penn State pulls off another upset, getting just enough offense in a 20-17 win.

Colt McCoy and the Longhorns win the battle of the Heisman candidates. McCoy continues his playoff magic only throwing 4 incomplete passes all game in the leading the Longhorns to a 34-20 win.

USC has the best defense in college football – possibly one of the best defenses in college football history. Similar to what it did to the Buckeyes early on in the season – the Torjan D shuts down the Nittany Lion run game. Sanchez and Co. have been underrated all year and this will be their coming out party. Their offense is too balanced and pushes the Nittany Lion D on their heels all game. USC wins 27-10.

Game 13 – Tebow and the Gators prove they are worthy of all the fan fare. Colt McCoy plays the game of his life, but Florida is too much. UF 38 Texas 35

Game 14 – We all know how this went. For three of the game’s quarters PSU outscores USC 24-14. The Trojans explode for 24 in the fourth and leave Joe Pa scratching his head.
