After honing my hardwood skills on Rockaway Parkway in Brooklyn, I went on to college where my #22 was retired. I earned a first round pick in the NBA draft and made good on my status. In 11 seasons I dropped over 5,000 and grabbed 3,000+ boards. But those numbers only tell half of the story. Defense was my calling card as evidenced by my arachnid nickname. I suited up for the final game of the season five times. Four times the team I played for earned rings. In fact I was the first player in NBA history to play on three different championship teams.

I don’t know what’s going on here, Pete. You and I are slipping up and no one is taking advantage of it. What I’m afraid this means is that the popularity of WAI is waning. Could it be due to the controversy? We haven’t heard from Smitty since he wrote that piece. I’m starting to wonder if Casey has something to do with that…Oops!!! I shouldn’t have said that. Well, if there’s no “Cooking with Chas” tomorrow morning, you’ll know why.
